Çäåñü ïðèâåäåí òåêñò, êîòîðûé ÿ íàïèñàë â ãðàôå «Ðàññêàæèòå î ñâîåé ðàáîòå ñâîèìè ñëîâàìè».
During my work experience as a Gardner I was executing the following tasks:
- soil preparing for different kinds of plants planting (ploughing, tallage, milling, fertilizing etc.)
- replanting the plants according to the landscape plan (flowers, trees, shrubs, lawn grass etc.)
- providing plants care (use growth regulators and fertilizers, ensuring that plants are receiving enough water, weeding, using pesticides etc.)
- maintaining garden by fertilising, trimming, pruning trees and hedges and removing debris
The following equipment was used: different kinds of hand garden tools, lawn-mowers, syringes etc.
After I’ve been promoted to the position of the Senior Gardener some new tasks were added to my responsibilities:
- developing landscape plans and selecting the list of the necessary plant according to the Client’s requirements
- pests control plan developing
- developing and installing the irrigation and drainage systems
- developing the Season garden care plan and making recommendations to the Clients
- executing planning and control of the garden workers
- dealing with ornamental plant suppliers and etc.
During my work as the Senior Gardener in horticulture department I took some other responsibilities:
- planning of the season works in the fruit gardens (apples, pears and drupaceous)
- managing several teams of the garden workers
- dealing with suppliers and purchasing agents
As the the result of my professional skills growing I got the position of General Manager Assistant. On that position I was responsible for:
- developing long-term plans
- setting budgets and managing the financial aspects of our company
- managing and consulting the Senior Gardeners’ activity in both landscape and horticulture businesses
- dealing with suppliers and purchasing agents
